Doing: Drawing!
Whoa! Hi again!
Here are some quick sketches of my cat Oliver I drew before bed.

Doing: sketchbook
View of the Louvre, drawn through a window. I discovered a great vantage point in the stairwell of a museum next door, luckily there were so few people there that day that I could be a fire hazard for the 10 minutes or so it took me to draw this!

I totally forgot I had a blog!
Here are some sketches from a recent trip to Paris – I’ve discovered I actually really like drawing architecture, although not with any kind of precision.

Doing: Neighbourhood Sketches
Whoa – behind! Here are some neighbourhood sketches. Been looking at a lot of Paul Hogarth’s architectural drawings lately.

Doing: Commute Sketches
Week 2 of my ongoing project to practice drawing to and from my new job as a game artist!
I think of myself as someone who has trouble drawing from his imagination but it occurred to me very recently that I haven’t really practiced doing it – I don’t actually know what I can’t and can’t do!
I decided to take advantage of my long commute by drawing on the train where I have 0 reference material/distractions.
Delighted to see that I have managed to absorb some of my anatomy lessons!
Here are a few from the last 2 weeks (and one drawing of my cat Oliver I did at home before bed).
